Art Prints Now For Sale!

After months of trying to get these ready for selling, my limited edition prints are now for sale in my Etsy shop. I will be only printing 30 of each. You can find them if you click on the small images to the right. Each print is signed and numbered by me and includes a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.

Would You Say This Is Dreary or Contemplative?

Recently I had the opportunity to dig out my paint and brushes and create some new paintings. It's funny that I let it go so long between sessions as once I get started I realize how much I enjoy it. Although sometimes what I want to paint and what actually gets put on the canvas can be two very different things. I can get frustrated that it's not turning out the way I want it to. The beauty of creating a finished piece of work is that no one knows what I wanted to accomplish so it all turns out good in the end. I've learned to live with this and move on for the most part.

Here are the two paintings I did last weekend. They are both untitled as of right now because that is not my area of expertise. If you can think of some creative titles for these two paintings let me know in the comments please and I will pick out my favorites!

12"x 12" Acrylic on stretched canvas

This one is only 4"x 5" big, just a bit bigger than my cell phone. Tiny paintings are fun to do, although I think it took longer to do than the bigger one, I'm not sure.

What paint and water can do. What do you think?

I've been in a semi slump lately, I don't know if it's just because of winter or what but creativity has been next to nothing and I have a ton of projects to finish. Well I think I finally broke through the slump and was inspired to paint again. Once I started I didn't want to stop.

Spring Thaw

A New Painting Finally!

It feels good to get the paint brushes out again. My brother Vince who takes amazing photos which you can find here  http://www.vrwolfphoto.com/ took a picture of a cute little chickadee sitting on the budding branches of spring and I just couldn't resist painting the little creature. The painting is acrylic on a 16''x 20'' stretched canvas.

Trying Something New

I've decided that I would try something new and start my own creative blog. I'm not sure where this will lead me, I guess we'll see.

A little about me...

I've been painting and creating stuff since I was fairly young. My inspiration for most of my works have been through nature, history, and architecture and most of all my imagination.

This is my most recent painting.
