December 2020 Card Kit

The last 2 month's have been a whirlwind as you may have noticed the lack of posts here. I have been so busy uploading items into my Etsy Shop. Who knew that listing items could be a full time job from taking pictures to writing descriptions. Both are not my strong points. That sums up October and in November a local Maker Space opened up, Everything Country Mini Market in which I have been making cards like mad to put in their shop plus I joined a Collab on YouTube to pick one Christmas paper pad and make 4 items from it in which you post a video for each one. This has also made me make things in a hurry as there was a deadline to have the video up by 7am my time every Wednesday. You can check out those videos on my channel (click the YouTube tab above). They are called Crafty Christmas Collab 2020. Needless to say I forgot to post November card kit here and now that they sold out I figured there wasn't really a point unless you want to still see them here. Just let me know in the comments below.

October 2020 Card Kit

 Hi there, 

Now that the garden is harvested, craft sale is past and fall has set in with colder temperatures, it is time to get back to crafting. I've been thinking of the things I want to accomplish this winter and busting my crafty stash is definitely one of them. I am also hoping to put out some more crafting videos. I took a bit of a poll on my YouTube channel to see what you would want to see in the future. The options were:

The majority of the results were for sewing and then organizing. The other categories had all the same votes but quite a bit lower than these two. I did a practice sewing video that I haven't uploaded yet as the filming and editing of it is a little more challenging than my scrapbook videos but hopefully I can get it figured out soon and have some more types of videos for you soon. If you would like to see anything specific from any of those categories, let me know in the comments.😊

July's Finishing Projects Update, Basic Grey's Konnichiwa Paper Line, C...

I'm trying not to be overwhelmed with the task of finishing all these projects before the end of July. To be honest I don't think I'm going to get them all done. Regardless I have been making progress. I did finish this whole Basic Grey, Konnichiwa paper line.  In the video below are all the projects I made with this line. 

How to Fix a Coil Bound Mini Album

Some of the projects that I needed to finish were repair jobs like this album that tore at the binding. in the video below I take you through the process that I do to fix it. I hope this might help someone else who may have had this issue.

Konnichiwa Paper Bag Album and a Challenge for July

Hi there!

How are you all doing? last week was a bit of an eye opener for me, well sort of. I knew my paper crafting stuff was out of control but it was confirmed when a shelf fell in my craft room. Thankfully my kids and I had just left the room because the crash that followed made us all jump out of our skin!

That empty yellow space was where the shelf was.

My sewing space is such a mess, yikes!

So now begins the task of dealing with the stuff. As I was going through the things that fell I came across many unfinished projects which led me to my July challenge....FINISH THEM!

In this video I walk you through a paper bag album I just finished and what my plans are for the projects for the rest of this month. Enjoy and feel free to join me if this sounds familiar, haha.

Another thing that I need to deal with is my embellishments that I was going to reorganize and now that the shelf they were on is gone, it's time. They are currently sitting on my workspace which is convenient but not ideal.

June 2020 Card Kit

Hello, how is everyone doing?

I have another card kit for you. There are lots of gold accents and lovely summer colors to have fun and play with. For those who are new to my card kits, here is a little info on what you get.

Each kit has enough supplies to make 4, A2 sized cards (4.25"x 5.5"). All the papers are pre-cut so there is no measuring or cutting (you may need to trim ribbons, but that's it). All you need is adhesive. The kits also come with multiple sentiments so you can customize the cards to whatever you need at the moment. Extra sentiments can be saved for future card kits if that kit doesn't have what you need or you can use them for your own creations. 3D foam squares are mentioned often for raising up images and sentiments but you can use foam tape or thinner cardboard pieces as well.

Hi Everyone, and Happy Spring!
Things have not thawed here where I live yet but hopefully in a couple of weeks the snow will be gone and new life will start to flourish. I can hardly wait!
